Bonafide blues vocalists are hard to come by nowadays. When veteran blues singer John “Blues” Boyd tells you he’s the real deal, you’d better believe him! Born and raised in Greenwood, Mississippi, John Boyd’s inherits much of his style from his childhood blues heroes - a list that includes such greats as Wynonie Harris, Jimmy “T99” Nelson, B.B.King, Junior Parker and Howlin’ Wolf. This Thursday night John makes a cameo at our humble blues jam, backed up by many of the all-stars that were featured on his upcoming Greaseland studios release. You won’t be disappointed!
