Born and raised in Greenwood, Mississippi, John Boyd’s inherits much of his style from his childhood blues heroes - a list that includes such greats as Wynonie Harris, Jimmy “T99” Nelson, B.B.King, Junior Parker and Howlin’ Wolf.
